The curtain falls on the third edition of the Classic Days and
the quiet of the country take back his rights.

How it was nice to ear the beautiful sound of the 8 cylinders in line, the 12 cylinder in “V”, the “V6”…To share the passion between friends.
Meet, exchange, vibe to the contact and approach of the sound of these machines that are so important to our eyes.

The program announced has scrupulously been respected:
eclectic, eclectic, eclectic in a friendly!
There was something for all tastes. All the extreme were represented
and so as the intermediate range, everything to delight the curious and sharp eyes.

Everything begins on Friday with the exhibitors that install, stand, plate of competition. The pressure rises, the engines purr,
the circuit begins to speak to the past…
On Saturday morning, finally we go to the past recomposed with the
1.137 cars registered that begin to move. Car park for each one.
A Living museum swarming of pleasure and envy.
From 9:00, the first cars soar on the track. Some 372 cars are launched by plate composed by year, power, type and behavior.
The first visitors flow and the National 7 recover its colours of yesterday
for the greatest joy of our friend Thierry Dubois.

13:30, it is the departure of the first route of the “Classic tour BRM Chronograph”. This walk through the small paths of the Nièvre is the occasion to disturb the walk of rabbits and other leporidae.
What enchantment to discover or rediscover this beautiful department, strolling driving his beautiful and with his beautiful by his side… So nice!

Meanwhile, the Village of exhibitors makes the pleasure of the visitors and also the one of the participants all along the week-end. We cannot be insensitive to all those nice things and return empty-handed…
Miniatures, artist proofs, alternator, old books…

Meantime, the cars still go on the track : R12, F1, 250 LM, Giulia, 8C, P 1800, JS2, Type 35, etc. A real firework!

Here comes the end of the day and it is time for the first parade with the Mustang that open the ball. Some 120 Ford Mustang on the track from the 64 ½ to the 2010. Horn, flashing light, humming, total delirium!

Then it is the turn of the Alfa Romeo Parade, little wink to the centenary of the famous Italian brand: red, red, red…

Those great festive moments close the first day on the track and this is a perfect transition for the Classic Days and Night Fever. Sort of a great communion between participants, with around 1.150 guests to the dinner,
a music group with an uncontested talent and a supercharged environment.

On Sunday, the morning dew is still fresh while the track is already backing in action. Place is done for pre-war cars. What ravishment for eyes and ears! The cars arrive gradually at the rate of the clock more or less difficult
of their owners.
The second departure of the Classic Tour BRM is done. Cars return to the small lost paths and the most players play the quiz that marks the route in order to be one of the great winners and maybe,
the one who will win the BRM so coveted.

And they turn, turn, turn…
What happiness this track, what a pleasurable route!

While, the guests and friends of Guy Ligier arrive. They made appointment to give him a tribute he deserves. This great Sir of the French motor sport,
who makes the Marseillaise ring so many times,
was honoured as pilot, manufacturer and manager by the greatest.
Were present at this occasion: Jacques Laffite, Henri Pescarolo,
Alain Serpaggi, but also engineers like Gilles Alégoet, Gérard Ducarouge, Michel Tétu and of course his long-time friend Tico Martini.

A dedication session was organised for the greatest pleasure of his fans.
Lot of them came to thank Guy for all these years while his cars make us dream. Return with the collector poster and the signature, that is happiness!

12:00 and it is the moment so expected of the famous parade of the classic Days. Opening with a large range of Ligier of which the mythic JS3 freshly renovated. And then it is the turn of the 469 cars to take place on the track: beat record! We can see joy and elation on all faces.

Over the hours runs continue on the track. And still no rain coming! Luck is with us. Driving sessions stop around 18:00. On each car park there was something for all tastes and everyone was filling up.
Nearly 20.000 visitors came
for the 3rd edition of the Classic Days during the week-end.

The gold book will be the witness to the various impressions…
